Cleaning methods for roll films

Apr 18, 2026

Gently sweep away dust, particles, or loose impurities from the film surface or wipe it with a clean, soft cloth, avoiding scratches from hard objects. Keep hands clean during handling to prevent oil or dust from contaminating the film, especially for roll films used in food or pharmaceutical packaging, where strict hygiene control is essential. Use gentle cleaning methods. For minor stains, gently wipe with warm water or a neutral detergent. Avoid using strong acids, alkalis, or organic solvents to prevent damage to the film material, printed patterns, or surface coating. After cleaning, dry promptly with a clean, soft cloth or allow to air dry, ensuring the film surface is free of watermarks or residual liquid.

Finally, roll films should be properly stored after cleaning. Keep the cleaned film flat or rolled up and store it in a dry, well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight to prevent dust re-adhesion or moisture absorption and deformation. Avoid heavy pressure or folding of the film to maintain its flatness and packaging performance, ensuring optimal results in subsequent processing and use.
